What it means to be strong

What it means to be strong

-

First week back & one of the biggest complaints I’ve heard is the lack of/ loss of strength due to lockdown.

-

You need to remember that strength isn’t always about maxing out your deadlift, think of the trauma you’ve been through this past year, the fact that you are back & trying to better yourself, push yourself even though you’ve had this setback should make you proud.

-

Who cares if you’ve dropped 10kg off your bench press you’re still here & have the motivation & drive to push yourself all over again.

-

Strength is not defined by the weight you can lift or your physical capabilities.

-

Strength is showing up when it’s hard, accountability & persistence.

-

Strength is in the mind, it is how closely we are aligned to who we really are, what we really want & what we are really capable of.

-

“Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength”
